At 4HR Sanctuary, 

we strive to bring people together and 

create a sense of belonging and connection with

animals and nature 

in peaceful, restorative, natural safe havens.

We are a nonprofit organization committed to 

making a positive impact through 

offering compassionate support and tailored programs 

for individuals and animals alike 

that foster restoration and rehabilitation services 

for animals in need. 

This includes protecting at-risk animals and horses, 

providing boarding,

shelter and rehabilitation, 

veterinary care needs, 

training, retraining and re-homing horses 

(and other animals) in transition with careers as athletes, 

companions, teachers and healers, 

as well as providing respectful retirement and

 life care for aged or injured horses.   

We believe in the dignity and humane care for all - 

people and animals  alike. 

We also offer a variety of experiences and activities 

for people of all ages 

and experience levels 

to gain hands on skills,  

learn about the care and needs of horses 

and other animals, 

build meaningful life skills,

as well as offer many opportunities to 

participate with and enjoy the animals 

in our natural spaces while connecting with one another.

We believe in the powerful, innate connection between 

animals, people, and nature 

being a strong catalyst for 

growth, restoration, resilience, and 

lasting well being for all.
